Dr. Lyass received his medical degree from the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute (now Moscow Medical University). He has been trained in general surgery in Israel at the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, and completed his surgical training at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
After residency, Dr. Lyass completed fellowship in the Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
