oBand® Surgery Centers receives dozens of nominations on behalf of good Samaritans who have given their time, talents and resources to their communities in acts of service and kindness. The recipient will be selected by a committee consisting of surgeons, medical experts, psychologists and spiritual leaders.

If you would like to nominate yourself or others, please submit a registration form and identify in the notes section provided why you or someone you know deserve to receive the oBand® Humanitarian Award.

Community emails submitted in support of individual nominees will have a significant impact. Please email your support to: humanitarian@obandcenters.com and identify in the subject line the candidate's name and identification number.

Recipients must be present at the seminar to receive the award. If it is determined that the recipient's insurance can cover the procedure at an oBand® facility, then oBand® will be happy to perform the procedure using the recipient's insurance coverage and the award will go to a runner up that does not have the means to pay.
